Message from Citizens for a Better Bridgewater

Dear CBB Members and Concerned Residents,

As most of you probably know, Town Meeting authorized for a Contingency Budget to be put to a Special Election. This means a $1.3M override will be on the ballot on June 14.

We are calling a special meeting to discuss this override. The meeting will take place at the Senior Center on Wednesday May 14th at 7:30 pm.

The CBB Steering Committee is in favor of the contingency budget as was presented. We feel it is a step in the right direction for our town. We will work with the Board of Selectmen and the Advisory Board to support it over the next few weeks. Should we decide to move forward we will be asking you, our members, to come prepared to volunteer your time, your area of expertise and any financial support you can give to ensure we have the support we need to get this passed at the ballot box.
We invite all members to attend this meeting if you wish your voice to be heard.
Also, the next regular meeting will be June 1st at 7 pm at the St. Thomas Aquinas Parish Center. We have invited the BOS and AB to attend and discuss their recovery plan and the contingency budget.

Sincerely,
CBB Steering committee
