This Week's Poll: Open Forum at Selectmen's Meetings?

There has been a lot of discussion relative to the Open Forum section at each Selectmen's meeting. Proponents of the Open Forum (including Selectman Chris Flynn and Selectman Mike Demos) feel as though Open Forum is essential to preserve democracy and the freedom of speech that residents should be allowed to exhibit within their own local government. Opponents (including Selectman Stan Kravitz) feel as though Open Forum at times detracts from the regular agenda and the discussion at Open Forum often becomes personal.

This week's poll question addresses the issue. Please vote!
