American Association of University Women Meeting


On Wednesday, March 14th, the Taunton branch of the AAUW (American Association of University Women) will meet at the Arbors in Taunton, located at 763 County Street. The meeting, which is open to the public, begins at 7:00 p.m.

Gail Fortes from the YWCA will be the guest speaker. She will be speaking about the YWCA and its mission to promote economic empowerment for women, to eliminate racism, and to provide services directly to women and girls.

AAUW membership is open to all women who hold an Associate or equivalent, Baccalaureate or higher degree from a qualified educational institution. Undergraduates may become AAUW affiliate members.
