8th Annual Celebration for Peace in Bridgewater, September 21-23

 
This year, much of humanity will conduct the largest global observance of the International Day of Peace ever. The International Day of Peace was established by the United Nations in 1981. Its mission is to provide a common time for individuals, organizations, and nations to create practical acts of peace on or near a shared date, September 21st.

The 8th Annual Celebration for Peace in Bridgewater, Massachusetts will take place Friday through Sunday, September 21st-23rd at First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church, 50 School Street, Bridgewater and the Bridgewater United Methodist Church Parish Hall, 15 Cedar St., Bridgewater. Held in concert with the United Nations International Day of Peace, this community event is free and open to the public, and includes a procession, children's programs, music, a public talk by BSU faculty, meals, and peace-themed services from various spiritual traditions.
