Charitable Giving: How to be an Informed Donor

Bridgewater, MA. Deputy Liisa Budge-Johnson will speak at the Bridgewater Public Library on Tuesday, February 12th at 7p.m. Her topic is: “Charitable Giving: How to be an Informed Donor.”

If you are being inundated with requests for donations and don’t know how to choose, this is the program for you! Deputy Budge-Johnson will discuss the difference between a non-profit organization and a charity, how to examine the financial records of charities and how to make informed choices on where to send your money.

Attendees will not be advised on which specific charities to donate to, but will come away with ways to make your charitable financial decisions easier.

Deputy Liisa Budge-Johnson is the Outreach Coordinator for the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department.

“Charitable Giving” will be held in the Flora T. Little Meeting Room on the library’s lower level, accessible by stairs and elevator. Parking is available in back of the library, located at 15 South Street.
