Building Supplies for Easton Habitat

Can you imagine how many nails, work gloves, paint rollers, and paint brushes are needed to build a home? It's a lot! As local teens, Ben, age 17, Sam, age 15, and other friends recognize this need for the new Habitat for Humanity home being built for a family from Bridgewater. They will be holding a supply drive at Fernandes Lumber and Home Center located at 299 Depot Street in South Easton.
Please stop by on Saturday, June 8, between 9:00 am - 1:00 pm and help with a donation which can easily be purchased at Fernandes. They are ready with a shopping list you can choose from and simply drop off the items on your way out of the store. The boys are anxious to make a major impact because they know every item will be donated and used to build a house in their community.
As their mom explains "We got involved because we drive by the house daily and wanted to give a family with 3 children the same opportunity our 3 children have had. We feel our children have benefited so much from the great school system, being a part of the athletic teams, and the wonderful Easton community."
Whether you need to pick up a few items for your own home or yard projects or are driving by, please help make this supply drive a huge success. For any questions, call South Shore Habitat for Humanity at 781-377-7744 x10.
