Advanced Excel Course

The Bridgewater Public Library will offer a workshop on Advanced EXCEL at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29th, presented by Gerald Muller of Bridgewater. This workshop will introduce you to one of the most powerful, but least understood tools provided in EXCEL – Pivot Tables. You will learn how to use a pivot table to analyze your accounting, marketing or any large set of data using actual accounting and marketing data.

It will take the mystery out of how to set up your data and link your data to a pivot table to allow you to produce different views of your data and turn your data into real information on your business. This workshop is hands on so bring your laptop. Mr. Muller will provide you with copies of examples and will be available to answer any questions you may have on how you can apply what you learn during the class to your own data.

Handouts will be provided to help you remember what you have learned. The workshop will be taught using EXCEL 2007 and 2010.

Mr. Muller has been using EXCEL in finance, business planning and marketing since the program was introduced. He has used pivot tables to help with the analysis of very large sets of financial, sales and marketing data to produce detailed budgets, sales reports and market analysis data as part of the Management Framework business process he created as a partner in Benchmark TMC.

“Advanced EXCEL” will be held in the Flora T. Little Meeting Room on the lower level of the library, located at 15 South Street. Parking is available in back of the library.
