Selling Antiques Lecture

The Bridgewater Public Library will host a lecture titled “Downsizing: How to Turn into Cash the Household Items and Antiques You No Longer Need” on Tuesday, November 26 at 7:00 p.m.

The program will feature Henry Callan, a member of the New England Appraisers’ Association, well-known lecturer and antiques dealer. He has entertained dozens of historical societies, libraries and clubs on the topics of gardens, antiques, folk art, Chinese Export porcelain, American samplers, quilts and coverlets and the glass flowers at Harvard University.

Callan will take you through various options and discuss the pros and cons of each. He’ll show you where to start and the step-by-step process, as well as share his insight, advice and recommendations.

The “Downsizing” lecture is sponsored by the Friends of the Bridgewater Public Library and is free to the public.
