Safety Assurance Program

Do you remember the ―Are You OK Program‖ that was sponsored by the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department?

Well the Sheriff’s Department is now offering a new program for seniors called the Safety Assurance Program. This is a free service. A computerized telephone system places a call to a participant at a specific time each day. You can choose between 6a.m. and noontime for your phone call. It’s a wonderful program that allows you to live independently and safely in your home. For further information or to enroll please contact the Plymouth County

Sheriff’s Department at 1-800-622-4300 or 508-830-6526. You can also contact us at 508-697-0929.

We are also seeking new members to join our Bridgewater TRIAD (Senior safety) program. We are taking the summer off but our meeting schedule typically is the 3rd Tuesday of the month, 1:00p.m. at the Senior Center unless there is a special program.

This is a joint effort between the Bridgewater Police and Fire Departments; The Bridgewater Department of Elder Affairs; the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department and District Attorney’s Office.
