Observatory schedules viewing events for the fall

The observatory at Bridgewater State University’s Center for Science & Mathematics will hold public viewing nights throughout the fall beginning Wednesday, Sept. 24.

Public viewings will be held every Wednesday through Dec. 10. The Sept. 24 viewing will run from 7:30-9 p.m. Public nights in October will run from 7-8:30 p.m. and the November/December events will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. The observatory will be closed the night of Nov. 26.

Observatory sessions are free, appropriate for all ages and are made possible by the Department of Physics, the Center for the Advancement of STEM Education, the dean’s office of the Bartlett College of Science & Mathematics, the Office of the Provost and the Division of External Affairs.
