UnMasked Masquerade Ball to Support The Well

On Saturday, October 11, The Well will host its first fundraiser – UnMasked- a masquerade ball to be held at the Oakes Ames Memorial Hall in Easton, MA.  The event’s theme is to “unmask”- to remove the stigma of mental illness that so many who suffer from it hide behind.  Through this event, we hope to increase awareness of the issues surrounding mental health, raise financial resources to help in our efforts to treat mental health issues, and educate the community about the services offered at The Well, a Center for Hope and Healing.

In today’s world, the devastating effects of untreated mental illness are seen everywhere.  Weekly news reports of violence and tragedy that has occurred as a result of untreated depression, anxiety, mood disorders and substance abuse fill our TVs and newspapers with horrific stories that leave us confused and afraid.  The Well is our community’s answer for help. The Well is a nonprofit, community-based wellness center located on 232 Broad Street in Bridgewater, MA.  The Well’s mission is to help individuals, families and the community experience spiritual, emotional and physical healing through holistic services that treat the complex needs of the mind, body and spirit.  At the Well, children, teens, adults and families who struggle with mental illness receive expert emotional and spiritual care in a center that also provides love, support and commitment to the clients who need hope and healing.  Since opening in 2011, The Well has served hundreds of people in your community, your neighborhood, and perhaps even in your family.

The Well is soliciting financial assistance to provide counseling, support and care to members of this community.  You can help by becoming a sponsor, making a donation, and/or attending this event.  Sponsorship levels are as follows:  Platinum ($5,000 or more), Gold ($2,500), Silver ($1,000), and Bronze ($500).  Sponsors will receive mention in all event materials, on The Well website, and at the event.  You can also help by donating an item for our silent auction, raffle, or make a cash donation.  Sponsorships and donations are tax-deductible and can be mailed to The Well, 232 Broad Street, Bridgewater, MA 02324 or online at  For tickets to this event, contact Laurie Smith at 508-938-WELL (9355) or email  This is going to be an amazing evening filled with great music, food and drink, and the company of an incredible group of people who have a vision for a more well community.  We hope to see you there.
