Bridgewater Youth Soccer Fall Recreation League

Goals of Program:

The BYSA fall soccer program involves boys and girls in 5 age groups (Under 6, Under 8, Under 10, Under 12, and Under 15) in a recreational soccer program. The main objective of the program is for children to have fun and compete playing soccer with their friends in an organized program, while also learning soccer skills and teamwork. The U6 teams are combined girls and boys that will have a Saturday practice/game with an emphasis on teaching skills and having fun.  Teams in the U8 division play in a 5v5 format, teams in the U10 division play in a 6v6 format, teams in the U12 division play in a 8v8 format and teams in the U15 division play in an 11v11 format. Boys and girls in all age groups U8 and above are on separate teams. The program consists of an 8 week regular season with all games on Saturdays (between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.) beginning the Saturday after Labor Day. Teams in the U12 and U15 age groups may then compete in playoffs for a gender and age group championship.
