Career Fair for Educators


The Office of Career Services at Bridgewater State University will hold its annual Education Career Fair on Wednesday, April 6. This event provides teacher candidates with the opportunity to meet and network with more than 50 Massachusetts school districts in advance of the typical hiring cycle.

An employer panel will offer expertise on the job search process starting at 4 p.m. in the auditorium of the Dana Mohler-Faria Center for Science & Mathematics, Room 120. This year’s panel, moderated by Mary Ann McKinnon, associate dean of the College of Education & Allied Studies at Bridgewater, will include: Robert Perkins, associate principal, Brockton High School; Lisa O’Keefe Trainor, human resources director, Franklin Public Schools; and Celeste Hoeg, principal, Carlos Pacheco Elementary School, New Bedford Public Schools.

The Networking Fair will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Rondileau Campus Center Ballroom. Candidates should bring plenty of resumes and dress in professional business attire. This event is free and open to current students, alumni and the public. The event concludes at 7 o’clock.
