The Joy of Maple Sugaring

The Joy of Maple Sugaring An informative program presented by Bruce Hopper of Pure BS Maple Shack a member of the Massachusetts Maple Producers Association on November 16th at 6:30 pm at the Bridgewater Public Library.

Bruce Hopper and Ed “Sully” Sullivan are friends that share a love of nature, adventure, hearty laughs. You won’t mistake the Pure BS Maple Shack for a traditional maple farm. Instead, it captures the sweetness of the Massachusetts town of Auburn, a welcoming old New England village. Utilizing a unique blend of individually selected Sugar, Norwegian and Red Maple trees, Sapmasters Bruce and Sully have hand tapped into the best of Massachusetts. That’s Pure BS. Free maple product samples will be served.

Massachusetts Maple Producers Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of maple sugaring in Massachusetts. Regular members are actively producing maple products or directly related to the maple industry. They support ongoing research into the many factors affecting our member farms, including production practices, quality control, environmental concerns, land development pressures and long term tree health.

The fun event, which begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Bridgewater Public Library, is free and open to the public.
