The Bridgewater Arts & Music Festival ("BAMF") is now accepting registrations for the July 4, 2017 festival on the grounds of Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, MA. Please view our website and you may register online or by mail.

We invite artists to participate in our Art Contest/Show, Crafters interested in showing and selling their wares, and vendors. We are delighted to invited Writers, Authors and Poets to read their work, sell & sign their books and other associated items.

Contest with cash prizes; daylong art display including paints, sketches, photography, pencils, charcoal, etc.

Artwork must be no larger than 36" x 36", wired and ready to hang. Pieces unable to be hung will be placed on (limited) table easels. Artist should remain with their work; you want to be present to speak to anyone interested in your work. All artists are welcome to enter the contest; there is no fee to enter. Please register your submissions early so we can ensure we have identification placards for your work ready for the day of the show. Prizes include cash/gift cards, plaque, ribbons.

Writers, Authors, Poets and Spoken Word Artists can participate in events at the Authors tent this year. If you want to sell your books, comic books, chapbooks or other publications. When you register, please detail for us your work/product. You can sell & sign. We will group all word artists together.

If you are interested in doing a more formal presentation/talk/reading of your work, please indicate that when you register.

Crafters, Artisans, Artists all demonstrating, showing and selling their wares. Handmade, unique designs, clothing, jewelry, household d├ęcor, t-shirts, accessories, tasty treats, other nifty things. Whether you want to browse or shop, there will be something surely to catch your interest.

Note: The Bridgewater Arts & Music Festival is not financially supported by the Town of Bridgewater or the 4th of July Committee (who organizes the parade and the fireworks – they need to keep every penny they raise for their events). Bridgewater State University donates the grounds and facilities for the day. We accept small sponsorship donations from businesses and vendors and fees from some participants.
