Flora T. Little Art Gallery

The Bridgewater Public Library will feature an exhibit of paintings titled “From Light to Life” by Robert Weinstein in the Flora T. Little Art Gallery. The exhibition will be on display during the months of October and November.

Robert Weinstein found his passion for painting while producing and directing films and television musical specials. He found the transition to paint totally natural. He studied at the New York Museum of Modern Art and with artists in the Hudson Valley of New York. He was also deeply influenced by the spontaneity and vibrancy of Canada’s Group of Seven artists.
His first public exhibit in the United States was in1981 at the  Plymouth Juried Arts Show. He has since been shown in galleries in Toronto, Cape Cod,  Boston, western Massachusetts and Nashville and his native New York, where he mounted a solo exhibit in Soho.

His works can be found with private collectors across North America and as far away as England, Poland and Israel. Many of his patrons hold multiple pieces. He has been commissioned in the U.S. and Canada

A New York University graduate, Weinstein taught communications at Emerson College and Northeastern University. He lives with his wife in North Easton where he has his studio.

An Artist Meet and Greet will be held on Wednesday, October 18th at 4:00pm.

The Flora T. Little Gallery is open during regular library hours: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 9a.m.-8p.m.; Thursday 10a.m.-5p.m., Friday, Saturday 10a.m.-2p.m.
