Music Alley is Gearing up for Another Fabulous Season!

If you have enjoyed Music Alley and have been thinking of becoming more involved in your community perhaps one of the following will spark your interest…

Friends of Music Alley are seeking the following:

Music Alley Board Members: The Board meets a few times a year to make decisions about the direction of Music Alley. Board Members participate in various committees and promote Music Alley, among other duties. If you are interested in getting involved in steering Music Alley, please go on our website and download the FOMA Board Member Application (www.bridgewatermusicalley.com). If you know of someone who may be a perfect fit, please pass on our information.

Sound Engineer
: This may sound more technical than it is. We have the equipment (PA Head, Speakers, Cables, Stands, Stage Monitors). We just need someone who is able to commit to every Thursday late afternoon during our concert season (beginning June 7th) to get the equipment to Music Alley, set it up, stay during the performances, in case there is an issue, and take it down. You do not have to be a Sound Engineer, just demonstrate your knowledge of the equipment etc. This is a paid position. Please go on the website (www.bridgewatermusicalley.com) and email us your contact information with a note of your interest.

Volunteers: We are currently seeking volunteers for the following positions:

Performance Assistants during the season: possible duties include: collecting donations, selling products, making small announcements, setting out chairs etc., tidying up at the end of performances.

Fundraising Committee: We need people to serve on this committee and help us reach our financial goals. Music Alley, as you know, is a non-profit and relies solely on the generosity of our neighbors. We are seeking several people to help us in our fundraising efforts.

Programming: We are seeking volunteers who would like to participate in making sure the events that take place in Music Alley are ready to roll: Coordinating the Performance Assistants (mentioned above); making sure that each event has enough volunteers; procuring any drinks or snacks that we might sell and making sure there are volunteers to sell them; setting up and taking down. Basically we need a team at the ready to get us ready!
