Events at the Library in June

In the Art Gallery: During the months of June and July is a collection of astrophotography by the Aldrich Astronomical Society, Inc.

Monday, June 4 @ 1:30 p.m.: Movie: Nostalgia.

Monday, June 4 @ 5:00 p.m.: Movie: Nostalgia.

Tuesday, June 5 @ 10:30-11:00 a.m.: Story Time with Miss Emily. Stories, games, a craft and FUN! All ages with adult, no registration.

Tuesday, June 5 @ 6:30 p.m.: Exploring the Solar System. Aldrich Astronomical Society presents a family friendly program on the Solar System and Beyond! Learn how to use a small telescope and binoculars to explore your solar system. Space artifacts will be on display. Chances for kids to win spacey door prizes. Come early to see the amazing Aldrich astrophotography in the Flora T. Little Art Gallery. Aldrich volunteers will answer any astronomy and space questions.

Wednesday, June 6 @ 9:30-10:00 a.m.: Book Babies. Lapsit for children up to 30 months with caregiver. Join Mrs. Davis for rhymes, songs, story and playtime. No registration.

Wednesday, June 6 @ 10:30-11:00 a.m.: Story Time and craft. Drop in story time for all ages with adult. Join Mrs. Davis for stories, songs, rhymes and a craft. All ages, no registration.

Thursday, June 7 @ 10:30-11:00 a.m.: Book Babies. Lapsit for children up to 30 months with caregiver. Join Mrs. Davis for rhymes, songs, story and playtime. No registration.

Saturday, June 16 @ 10:30-11:30 a.m.: Read to a Dog! Come meet Duncan, a registered therapy dog. Duncan will be here to visit and would love to be read to. Visit with him at the Bridgewater Public Library! All ages welcome, no registration.

Monday, June 18 @ 1:00-2:00 p.m.: Make and Take craft: Drop in to make an edible hamburger craft to take home! This sweet treat is fun to make! This program is for ages 3+ with adult helper! No registration, while supplies last!

Monday, June 18 @ 1:30 p.m.: Movie: American Graffiti.

Monday, June 18 @ 5:00 p.m.: Movie: American Graffiti.

Thursday, June 21: Summer Reading Sale! Our summer reading sale in the Used Book Store
begins with all children's books, CDs, and DVDs half off. All children’s items are now 50¢, today thru August 8, 2018.

Friday, June 22: Registration opens for Uno, Dos, Tres Spanish Story Hour with Maureen Holbrook. This popular program is back for a five week program beginning Tuesday, July 17 at 10:00-11:00 a.m. Join us for this free program! This program will be held at the Bridgewater Public Library and is recommended for age 3-7. Registration for this program can be done online at www.bridgewaterpubliclibrary.org or by calling 508-697-3331.

Saturday, June 23: Registration begins for Summer Reading. Open to ages 3-12, sign up for Summer Reading 2018, the theme this year is Libraries Rock! Registration for Summer Reading must be done in person at the Bridgewater Public Library.

Monday, June 25 @ 6:30 p.m.: Summer Reading Kickoff! Join us for a family friendly event as we kickoff Summer Reading 2018 with a program by the Motion Man. This program features magic, mime, circus, juggling and illusion. No registration.

Tuesday, June 25 @ 6:30 p.m.: Create a Seascape Window with Robyn Iarrobino from Blue Anchor Studio here at the Bridgewater Public Library. Fee is $40.00 per person. Tuesday, June 26 @ 10:30 a.m.: Movie. Recess: School’s Out! (G, 84 min.) All ages with adult, no registration.

Wednesday, June 27 @ 1:00-2:00 p.m.: Make and Take craft: Drop in to make a Fourth of July wreath. This program is for ages 3+ with adult helper. No registration, while supplies last!

Thursday, June 28 @ 1:00-2:00 p.m.: Make and Take craft: Drop in to make a Fourth of July bracelet with pony beads in festive colors. This program is for ages 3+ with adult helper. No registration, while supplies last!
