Join the South Shore Curling Club

The South Shore Curling Club is already planning for the upcoming 2018-19 curling season, and we hope you’ll be part of it!

Join the South Shore Curling Club

We have worked with the Bridgewater Ice Arena to add a second night of curling. If you've wanted to curl with us, now you can!

You can join our Fall Season on Tuesdays (10 weeks from Oct–Dec) and our Winter Season on Mondays (10 weeks from Jan–Mar) — both nights we'll be curling from 8:10-10:40pm. The cost is $80 to join the club (to cover dues, insurance, etc.) then $150 per season ($300 for all 20 weeks).

To answer some frequently asked questions:
the only prerequisite to join is that you've participated in a Learn to Curl (see below)
no equipment is necessary (you can use the club's brooms and sliders)
you don't need to join as a team (we'll assign teams)
it's OK if you can't make it to every night

You can sign up now on our website:

Learn to Curl

If you haven’t had a chance to try curling at one of our Learn to Curls yet, we’ll be having some sessions before the seasons starts in the fall. Dates are still TBD, but we will send registration info to this mailing list when we do know.

If you have any other questions, just ask.

Good curling!

The astrophotographers are passionate about taking photos of the solar system objects and distant galaxies, nebula, and supernovae.

The exhibit features jaw-dropping images of the skies by various artists. From terrestrial views to colorful auroras, their images capture the vast miracle of the universe. This exhibit is a unique and interesting art experience. www.aldrich.club/store

Volunteers Needed at Bridgewater Music Alley

Bridgewater Music Alley's season begins on June 7th! We are currently seeking volunteers to be on site from 4 to approximately 8:30 PM to help setup the space before performances (setting up light chairs, wiping off tables, etc), to stay during performances and answer any questions patrons might have such as where the bathroom is etc), then breakdown after (putting away said light chairs and covering, etc). Each Thursday night you commit to would be 4.5 hours of community service that we would sign off on at the end of each performance!

Please fill out the Music Alley's contact form if you are interested in volunteering: http://www.bridgewatermusicalley.com/contact.html
