Social Security Workshop at the Bridgewater Public Library

Social Security Workshop at the Bridgewater Public Library presented by Michael Graff on June 11th at 6:30 p.m.

Join Michael Graff of SOFA-The Society for Financial Awareness to discuss Social Security Benefits.

The Social Security Benefits course offers information for people nearing retirement and interested in learning more about Social Security claiming options and when to file for benefits. Social Security represents the foundation of retirement income, and properly coordinating it with other income and asset sources is critical to establishing a retirement cash flow that will be enough to last throughout retirement. We will also review the changes to Social Security enacted as part of the Bi-Partisan Budget Act. This law made sweeping changes to claiming options and strategies that need to be understood before filing for benefits.

The event, which begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Bridgewater Public Library, is free and open to the public.
