The Well Art Show

The Well: A Center for Hope and Healing has partnered with the community to raise awareness about Mental Health through an art project titled “Art + Healing”. Over 50 brave and talented artists of all ages have come together to create unique 10 x 10 inch paintings which will be on display at The Better Bean in Bridgewater for the month of June.

This art exhibit was created through art therapy groups for children and teens as well as community paint nights hosted at The Well and led by Art Therapist, Jenny Murphy, LMHC, ATR-BC. Individual paintings are available for purchase at $25 each proceeds go to the Tana Keating Fund which provides financial assistance to those in need of services offered at The Well.

“We’re incredibly proud to have joined so many in our community to be a combined voice in speaking out to raise awareness for mental health and wellness,” said Katherine Forbes-Smith, President and Founder of The Well. “It’s important that our friends and neighbors know that there is help available and the more we talk about it, the more people will hear.”

There will be an Art Show Opening Celebration on Friday, June 7th at The Better Bean from 4pm-6pm, free for all to attend. Art work will also be on display and available for purchase at http://www.visitthewell.org/art-show.
