Old Bridgewater Historical Society Quasquicentennial Fundraiser Announced

The Old Bridgewater Historical Society is celebrating its 125th year in operation. Founded in 1894, OBHS is dedicated to the collection, preservation, and publication of history relating to the original Bridgewater area, which includes the towns of East Bridgewater, West Bridgewater, Bridgewater and the city of Brockton.

The Board of Directors of OBHS is excited to announce our Quasquicentennial celebration fundraiser. Our “125 th Anniversary Raffle” includes some wonderful items including
2 TICKETS TO THE PATRIOTS VS. CLEVELAND BROWNS GAME on October 27th at
Gillette Stadium, donated by 3Phase Elevator Corporation. These are club seats valued at $700.

But that's not all!!! Also in the basket are gift cards for Atina Asian Bistro, Boston Tavern, Bridgewater Bagel, Crystal's Kitchen, Good Days Restaurant, Kenny O'Bryans Pub, Lawadessa Restaurant, My Sister and I, Skinner's Sugar House, Roche Brothers, Trader Joe's, Dewherst Lumber, Hobby Lobby, Champion's Barbershop, Cindi's Hair Studio, Get in Shape for Women, Martha's Cleaners, South Shore Cinemas (EBW), P & L Paintball, and gifts from Michael H. Jewelers, Sunny Line Builder's Supply, Meineke, Perfect Nails, and Jessy's Liquors. OBHS has contributed a one year membership to OBHS, an Ancestry DNA kit, New England Rocks book, washtub and fairy lights, OBHS mug, and OBHS tee-shirt. The basket is valued at over $1800.

They will also be sold at upcoming OBHS events, and at West Bridgewater’s Park Day on
September 8th. The drawing will be held at Bridgewater’s 99 Restaurant on Sept. 24th at our
"Dining for a Cause” event. The winner does not need to be present to win.
