Being Neighborly, Finding Common Ground

“Immigration” presentation given at the Bridgewater Public Library on Monday, October 7th at 6:30 p.m.

Presentation given by Sarang Sekhavat, Mass. Immigrant and Refugee Advocate Coalition; Jean Bradley Derenoncourt, Brockton City Councilor and Helena DaSilva Hughs, New Bedford Immigrants’ Assistance Center, Inc.

This presentation is in a series titled “Being Neighborly, Finding Common Ground” sponsored by Bridgewater Citizens for Civility and Respect (BCCR) and the Bridgewater Public Library.

BCCR is a group of local citizens in Bridgewater that have formed an organization whose goal is to ensure that Bridgewater is a safe, inclusive community, one of civility and respect for all.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Bridgewater Public Library, is free and open to the public.
