Passion Project’s First Presentation on Floor Cloths

New program series called Passion Project’s first presentation on Floor Cloths given by local resident Cynthia White on Wednesday, February 19th at 6:30 pm.

What are Floor Cloths? According Wikipedia “Floor Cloths is a medium of expression. Most modern floor cloths are made of heavy, unstretched canvas with two or more coats of gesso. They are then painted and varnished to make them waterproof. In the past few decades, the desire to decorate homes in a more personal way has stimulated their popularity. Unique designs are made in a variety of styles and colors, using many techniques. This gives today's floor cloths the ability to be created for any style interior.”

Cynthia is new to her current hobby but is happy to share her knowledge and passion with everyone. There will be on display the various stages of the process. We hope you join us and learn something new!

What is your passion? The Bridgewater Public Library is looking for volunteer presenters for a new program series at the library: Passion Projects. What's your expertise? Share your interests and knowledge with your fellow residents here at the library. Interested persons can contact us by email at with your name and your Passion Project!

The event, which begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Bridgewater Public Library, is free and open to the public.
